Terms of Service
Updated May 10, 2026
The short version
Vibatorial turns your photos into editorial covers. Use it to make beautiful artwork. Don’t use it for anything illegal or to publish content that violates someone else’s rights. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel. We do our best to keep the service running.

AI-Generated Output
Vibatorial uses AI to generate editorial decisions — headline, subhead, color palette, layout, framing — which the app then composes onto your photo locally. You own the output you create with Vibatorial, subject to two limits:
- You must have the right to use the source photo. If you don’t own the rights to the photo, you don’t get rights to the cover by passing it through Vibatorial.
- AI-generated headlines and subheads are creative output. They occasionally produce phrases that match other works by coincidence. We make no warranty of originality and you remain responsible for any commercial use of the output.
You may use covers you create commercially, post them to social platforms, sell prints, or include them in published work, provided you have the underlying photo rights and you do not use Vibatorial output to infringe on others’ rights, defame anyone, or publish unlawful content.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload or process imagery that depicts illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that infringes on third-party rights.
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the AI inference proxy.
- Use the service to generate content intended to harass, defame, or threaten any person.
- Resell, redistribute, or rebrand Vibatorial output as your own AI service.
We reserve the right to suspend access to accounts that violate these rules. Because Vibatorial does not require an account, suspension is enforced at the device-receipt level and via Apple’s standard mechanisms.
Third-Party Integrations
Vibatorial integrates with the following third-party services to operate:
- Apple StoreKit— subscription and IAP processing. Subject to Apple’s terms.
- Anthropic Claude— AI inference for editorial decisions. Photos and EXIF context are forwarded for one inference call and not retained. Anthropic’s API policy is no-training, no-retention by default.
- Supabase— backend infrastructure that proxies the inference call. No image bytes are persisted.
See our Privacy Policy for what data flows where.
Your Data
You own your data. We don’t claim any rights to your photos, your saved covers, or your brand guide. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the limited data we do touch.
Availability
We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee 100% uptime. The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, AI provider outages, or circumstances beyond our control. Local features (history, brand guide, settings) work without network access; cover generation requires connectivity.
Limitation of Liability
Vibatorial is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to: covers that don’t meet your expectations, AI output you find objectionable, lost commercial opportunities, or damages from any third-party use of your output. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid Vibatorial in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Termination
You can stop using Vibatorial at any time. Uninstall removes all locally-stored data. Active subscriptions continue to renew via Apple until you cancel them in your Apple ID account settings.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. On termination, your subscription receipts are retained for the audit window described in the Privacy Policy; everything else is removed when you uninstall the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We’ll flag substantive changes in the app and on this page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
